I've been going through many of my references, to include Koll's excellent work on medium calibers, and I'm trying to identify any Soviet/Russian or WARSAW Pact use of DU in medium caliber rounds. I've seen references to its use as cone liners in "enhanced-penetration" HEAT rounds, but not yet in any 14.5mm-57mm ammo as AP slugs similar to US designs. Am I missing something, or was it just not something that they got involved in?
