Question regarding P.60 AP shot box 25 pdr. colour

I have just bought a P.60 AP ammo box, the paint is pretty shabby, so would like to restore it, it had previously been painted black, gloss brown and a medium green.

What is the original colour of the these boxes?

It would have been painted light green if it contained smoke generators or it would be brown if it contained 25pr AP projectiles.

Thank you very much, I will be going of the brown then, as the box is going in to my Quad gun tractor, which had two boxes of AP stored in the door opening

There P60 box with the first coat of brown in its correct place in the Quad.
Now I just need one for the other side and these my other 25pdr boxes.
