Interesting that they took a 120mm HE projectile and painted it and lettered it as a WP.

Hello,
here Italian 102/35 shell modified for use in 100/17 howitzer. It's clearly visible the ring for the 102/35 driving band.

Italian 100/17 shrapnel with purple ring above driving band and 75/27 CK anti aircraft shell with fragmentation cilinder.

italian 76/40 incendiary shrapnel and a 75mm shrapnel with purple ring above driving band used in 75/27, 75/13. the black in marking above the purple ring means this was a ww1 shell restored in 1932

best regards

Hello,
italian 75mm High Capacity shell, used in 75/13 75/27. I think paint isn' original, white stripe measn high capacity.
here a couple of pic that shows differences betwen normal and High capacity shell;
granata da 75.jpgDSC00696.jpgDSC00697.jpgDSC00697 part.jpg

As you can see, the screwed ogive had a little recess to match with italian guerritore fuze. In normal shell, wall are thick than high capacity shell.

best regards
