Hello I recently bought an rdg 5 and it had red paint on it I took it apart to strip the paint off and refinish it. The problem is I can not get the fuse back together it has a spring, washer, and striker but I cant get the spoon to hold the striker and cant get the pin in past the spring can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Can't really remember off hand, but do remember these fuzes being a pain in the bum to load. I ended up using a screw driver carefully placed over the firing pin and just using steady force, without slipping, to push the spring far enough
