Recent Japanese Group Acquisition with Bringback Papers

A nice assortment of grenades, knee mortar rounds, fuzes, and other items.
The paperwork was from a First Lieutenant Robert K Williams who received a Silver Star from his actions on Iwo Jima.

The second paper, the tag, is interesting in that while I've seen a fair number of the normal bring-back slips of paper like your first, this is only the second tag that I've seen. Mine came attached to a 50mm mortar.

The 47mm is close to 15- 3/4 by the base 2 -3/4
