RED DEVILS dangerous!!

I think the same applies to any ordnance laying in the ground........assume that everything is dangerous and let the proper authorities deal with any finds.

regards Kev

They weren't exactly the safest of grenades when they were brand new . Had a reputation for being almost as dangerous to the thrower as to the intended target . This may be apocryphal but I can see where it comes from looking at the way they were armed & used . Still , good looking grenade if inert !

Hi. Even when the red devils are sand blastered into grey devils they are still a dodgy bit of kit. These ones were part of the dessert clean up in Libya, before they started filling it back up again with unexploded ordnance.:banghead: Cheers
