Relic Gun

Hello, a friend of mine sent me these photos from a gun, and I cannot identify it. The relic is in France so it could be a French naval gun, but that's not certain. If someone can help I'd really appreciate it. Thanks.

I did get some more pictures of the gun, and thanks to Grapeshot a positive ID.

It's a 12pdr 12cwt, more info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QF_12-pounder_12_cwt_naval_gun

There's no apparent marking except a serial number, 3238, and although I am not even sure this is a British made gun, since Italy and Japan produced these and it could have been salvaged from anywhere. But could this number link it to a date and manufacturer? I didn't find any info on the web. Still that's an interesting piece of history in a most unusual place.

If someone has any kind of info, feel free to share.
