Remington Rand 2 Pounder Shot

Ran across this interesting Ad from Remington Rand (the typewriter company, not to be confused with Remington Arms) for shot used to knock out German tanks. I am assuming it was 2 pounder shot, just trying to confirm it. Is anyone aware of a list of British contracts with American firms or maybe have a 2 pounder shot that is marked with manufacturer code "R-R" ?

I have owned many 2pdr shot good and bad but never one marked for Remington. I haven't seen a Canadian marked one either in 35 years of collecting.
Maybe they went straight there, but i think that's unlikely.
Just my experience.
Tim G may know as hes researched many of the contracts for 2 pdr ammo in archives.

I have read that the Remington Rand company produced 20mm ammunition of some sort for the UK during WWII as well as for the US. They also manufactured other calibers of artillery and AT rounds, as well as (VT?) fuzes & such. However, it might be hard to find which munitions plant produced which ammunition and therefore what markings they used, as there were several ordnance/munitions plants around the country that were operated by Remington Rand. The one I am familiar with is the Sangamon Ordnance Plant.

Maybe start there?
