Request ID assistance for UK projo

I was forwarded these photos with a request for ID. I've got very little on WWI UK projos, can anyone assist? Scale is in inches. Thanks in advance.

not my area but think its a WW1 6pdr base fuzed common projectile. The case is definately 6pdr and is marked if you look at the 12 o'clock area but not so easy to see in the photo.
