I am working on an article on the German made 37x94R44 and I could use your help. I would like to know if there are German made shell cases dated older than July 1882 (I have images of 37x94R44 shell cases dated July 1882, with lot numbers 6, 7 and 8). It would be great if anybody has the lot number 1 through 5, and can share the date. In addition, if anybody has a German shell case with an earlier date I would also like to know.
