Good day all,
I am looking once again for some advice onto marking that we had found recently on a 3inch mortar cap.
The body it self is in a very bad shape being found under water on a river bank.
The cap on the other hand is in prety good shape looking, and it wears a lot of infomations... maybe too much for a little thing.
So I get SH&S should for Samuel Heath and Sons Ltd
2/35 is month and year (common)
I get the broad Arrow... but my question is why so many? and why the Arrow in a dimand box??
I might guess the P over an other Arrow would stand for Past inspection...
What would the EZ mean? No.3? and 1.M.??
Do you see anything else that I did not?

Any help would be appreciated on this matter.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Luc.
