Evening all,
Was down in the Southern Highlands a couple of weeks ago and spotted this in a country town - Moss Vale (NSW), which was a pleasant surprise as most of the vintage /antique stores in the area now appear to have been stocked with modern antique reproduction rubbish.
This has to be one of a few that actually got to be restored - most either are left to rot or perhaps more fortunately sold to Collectors who will restore them for their collections etc.............or worst still - end up in a tip!!!
Further has some local history associated with the 57th Battalion which captured seven (7) 15cm Howitzers - this being one of them.
