In German archives (Invenio, e.g., PH 3 461) I read about a Rheinmetall 9 cm field gun that was tested. Apparently they needed to shorten the shell case by 9 cm as the original fixed ammunition was not reliable enough. The shell case was charged with 3 separate charges.

Does anybody know the shell case for this gun?
