Can anyone help me with a diagram, drawing or any technical information on the RAF store, Rocket Hand Fired Signal Distress No.1 Mk 1 Ref No. 12/D 9618404 made by Oerlikon in the 1970's. Thanks.

Roller,

I've got "Rocket, Hand-Fired, Signal, Distress, Red, No.1 Mk.1" but on 12D/1234. In service on or before 1954 and upto or after 1969. For use by aircrew in jungle country. Similar to yours?

Tim, it sounds like the same one, maybe mine is later, dated 11/74. I have an empty tube in front of me, I did think the stores ref was a long one, it is correct though. Any information would be great, thanks.

According to a British Publication it became obsolete in september 2007
