Who can identify the use of this USA fuze? Rocket or Mortar ?
It fits 60mm mortars and older 81mm USA mortars threaded 12 tpi x 1.5" diam (38mm).
Body is 3.5" (89mm). 106mm total length. Nose is 15mm wide. Made of steel with 1 key hole
The threaded base unscrews with a thin burst centre in the gaine.
Stamped: RO2495A1 PD FUZE AKT96C001-001

IAA Forum said it is made by Action Manufacturing Co. Philadelphia, Pa, USA.

It is a Royal Ordnance (RO) fuze for UK produced 90 mm tank gun fired projectiles. It is based on the Belgium NR 2495 fuze, but the A1 variant of it.

Some details on the original Belgium fuze are below. Other people may have more details on this fuze and the A1 update.

I only have data for the 90 mm UK ammo it was likely used with.

As to the exact manufacturer of the fuze (in case it was subcontracted out), I don't know? I'll leave that to others who cover such things in more detail.
