Rocket/Torpedo Thingy?

Outside the "Hooge Crater" Museum in Belgium, was this quite odd torpedo thingy??

I was completely baffled, and to be fair, that is quite easy.. :hmmmm2:

But, I found the confirmation I needed.

It's a "Propelled Noise-Buoy with quadrangle hammer box for sweeping of acoustic mines"

Quite a ugly thing isn't it?

Yoda / Chris

What you got is a WW2 German Acoustic hammer(GBT)Geräuschboje ,I found parts off it in the river Ems close to Borkum during a UXO job.
