picked this up the other day. a nice round other than that the wood worms have been having a go around the primer.

Does anyone have internal drawings of this? Maybe a page out of the Russian manual?

Joe

I have seen other cases before with similar groups of punch marks around the primer.

Why would this have been done?

There are too many for someone to have been trying to set off the primer and missed.

I believe a Russian design , but they used a French designed fuze type
in other things, so I hope some one else on site can put an accurate
name to it.
