Russian 76mm drill round

The WWII Russian artillery ammunition manual shows a drill round with a solid wood head, steel stop and KTM-1 fuse in the nose; the Zis-3 76mm cannon manual shows the same drill round with the mostly solid wood head, steel top and KTM-1 fuse.

The Germans used the multi-layer method of making their drill rounds that look just like yours. They are rare.

I have this 37mm Flak of similar construction, also the Muckleburgh museum in Norfolk UK has a Russian 76mm on display (middle top shelf under rocket) 20210521_123435.jpg8660737486_1345fe94df_n.jpg
 
There are no stamps on the case base to suggest this is German made, i wish it was
