Russian Ammo

Just bought a copy of the book by Christian Koll on Russian cannon and ammunition.
Can thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in this subject.
I am being gradually drawn to this area for my collecting, guess as there is a certain air of mystery about them and the equipment.
I think the book will be very helpful, but also quite expensive for me as I see items there I want to add :)

Hi Andrew,
Thanks for letting us know, that looks like a fascinating book and invaluable to anyone collecting Russian cannon rounds, the price is about what you would expect for such a reference book not withstanding that is still a lump of money, but i am a sucker for books. And like you say it just shows you what you are missing form your collection and that can be very expensive.
Best regards Weasel.

I got the book soon after it came out and agree its fantastic. Its excellent value for the money, cheap compared to a Janes book but potentially expensive on the pocket if you were to manage to track down everything in the book and add it to your collection.

Long ago when I started gun collecting my good friend adviced me that whenever you purchase a new gun, in the next purchase a book - in a long run it will pay. Now after all these years I fully agree.

Almost 8 pounds of highest level knowledge about russian small caliber artillery !! :top:
Thank You Chris !
