what would this be used with

82mm Russian mortar round O-832D
In ww2 was used bakelite fuzes MP, MP-82, M-4 and steel M-1, after ww2 bakelite M-5, M-6 and M-12.

This style of fuze is also used on the OG-7 HE Rocket for the RPG-7. The OG-7 is basically a pipe filled with explosive with a tail fin. The pipe body has a PD fuse in the nose and is the same diameter as the motor section.

Chinese made copies of this fuze are being used in afghanistan in mortars and 107mm spin stabilized rockets for attacks on the FOBs.

The M-5A was made of Aluminum (by Russia/USSR). The M-6 also exists in aluminum but to my knowledge never was made by Russia/USSR. Those aluminum ones I had seen so far were made by Albania and Bulgaria.
