Hallo,
attached is a foto of an old style russian fuze-arming-adapter. It looks similar to the MDW-5 arming-adapter. These all only fit the old vane-armed fuzes, like those of WW2. These adapters had to be used with planes that had no electric arming equipment installed. Meanwhile I understand the assembly on the plane and function of the MDW-5, but how is this adapter used ? Does anybody here know its assembly and functioning ? Thanking you for your consideration in advance,

Stopornaja shajba UV (no 2 at the picture) - google translates it as lock washer. I am not sure about correct english equivalent.

thank you very much for the picture. Would "arming spacer piece" in english or "Entsicherungs-Abstandhalter"in german, be right descriptions. From what I can glean from the picture there are 3 gadgets more needed for operation, besides the "Arming-spacer-piece". 1.) A clamp open on one side that clamps onto the "Abstandhalter"-bar, 2.) Arming Fork, 3.) The part holding them all together. What is trhe name of the manual from which you show 2 pages ?Kind regards,

I have uploaded the manual to the downloads section. It is an airforce mechanic's textbook.
The clamp is a standard way to secure arming wires that can be found on other fuzes (AVU-ETM) or MDV-5.
You will see more examples in the manual. There is also a version of the arming spacer with a simple ring on page 241.
