Picked this up today I believe it’s a Russian 152mm heat round but could be wrong

M8owner is right, this is without doubt a german 15 cm HEAT, but without dimensions it is impossible to say which one exactly.

This type of shell was used in the 15 cm s.F.H. 18 and 15 cm S.i.G. 33 for instance, of course with variations in the size of the drivingband.
And if I remember correctly there was a version for French 15,5 cm guns as well.
I think Pzgr.40 made a cut away of this type years ago, so do a search, you might find more info.

Best regards,

Zünder.

To be clear, both are German designed and manufactured projectiles - one for a Russian gun and one for a German gun.

Thanks for the info is mine German made for captured Russian guns ? I am sure this shell came from Poland

If it is 152mm, then it is German designed and made for captured Russian Guns. I have a 150mm version that also came out of Poland. Yours appears to be similar condition and probably from the same small lot that was discovered.

This is what the base of mine looks like . As you can see it’s not flat
