Rusty bren gun carrier handbrake parts??

Went out walking yesterday on an old range, and apart from the usual shrapnel found everywhere,we found this large part of a vehicle handbrake mechanism( i think). Have previously found parts off what i believe is a bren gun carrier. Can anybody give a positive ID?? Cheers Tig.

WD 40 !

Remember, you only need two items in your toolbox, WD 40 and Duct Tape ! if it won't move and it's suppopsed to, use WD 40. If it moves and it's not supposed to, use Duct Tape !
