Joe,
not sure if this helps or not but here are some statistics on said grenade:

-Weight is 8.8 oz or 250g
-Delay element is 7 seconds.
-Contruction is of cardboard
-Emission is Black smoke
-Duratiion is 1.5 - 2 minutes
-Ignition source is by a friction cap stricking the smal pellet embedded on top of the grenade. I think that the procedure is similar to the use of a typica Highway/Emergency road flare.

NOTE: This grenade will countinue to burn even underwater.

The grenade was manufactured in the Former East Germany and no company was mentioned.

I hope this helps you out even just a little bit Joe!!!
