HONORED MEMBER RIP
Assorting some pictures, I came across these ones:

CIMG1744.jpg CIMG1784.jpg

"Paul Liebner Schraubenfabrik, Luckenwalde, Lieferung 72, 18.12.1939"

Nothing spectactular so far, but the use of two different kind of boxes (tin/bakelite) within the same batch seems to be remarkable.

The Batch number will only be for the contents.
The packaging container would be required to meet seperate requirements so they would probably come in empty from a different supplier & have had different B No`s (if any).
This is assuming Herr Liebner & Co didn`t also make the container/packaging. Even if they did the above applies.
Along the same lines a complete round will have different LOT/Batch no`s for Case, Primer, Fuze, Projectile.
Still interesting in its own way though.
