I certain know only one manufacturer of S.mines you asked for: dah (means Junkers & Co.GmbH, Fabrik wrmetechnischer Gerte). This company, part of the Hugo Junkers imperium, has produced boilers to heat water in kitchen and bathroom, pre-war at Dessau/Saxonia and post-war in western Germany. The locating grove in the top of the war time production model S. Mi. 35. was to allow for the bar to be attached that would allow 9 x Es. Mi.Z.40 Igniters, the bar gave the mine a larger foot print....

The scanner is now fixed, the info came from "Enemy Equipment, part 1, German Mines & Traps 1943" please note the documents been ammended by the original owner.
