Hello all
i hope the flooding we have had in the uk hasnt affected too many.


Question

i have some inert small arms rounds (not many) and was wondering how to store or dislay them safely.

The cases are empty and primers are oiled,but if i glued or stuck the bullet back in then someone might think they are live.
I dont want to drill holes in them,but would like them to have their bullets in place.

How do other collectors deal with this?

Inert SAA

Hi 18pounder,
Put lead shot inside the case and put the head back on. Externally it looks ok but if you shake it you can hear the lead rattling inside, showing it is inert.

A lot of my bigger rounds have each got a wood screw in the case
