SANGSTER No25 MKI

I've been lucky enough to acquire some really nice, and a few very uncommon grenades in 2016, but this one tops them all, I think. The No25 MKI Sangster. I knew it was a scarce example, but since I've had it, I've become aware of just how scarce it really is.

Unfortunately the rod is reproduction. If anyone were to have an original by chance, and would consider parting with it , I would be very motivated to buy it from you. I think this one deserves a real one.

Great grenade.

Charles Sangster also designed the No 13 Pitcher Grenade in 1915. He was an engineer and inventor who filed over 400 patents in his lifetime mainly to do with the cycle and motorcycle trade. Very much a self made man.

Congratulations! That is one hard to find grenade, especially here in the states. I have a MkII but no luck yet on the MKI. The original condition is outstanding!

It's been a good week collecting. Thanks Paul for this really nice No.20 MKI.
