Greetings
Can anyone tell me what this is and whether it has been cut-down.
Just wondering whether to bid on it LOL
Length about 280mm.
"across base 90mm"
"across mouth 89mm"

So presumably that is NOT the rim diameter (90mm) because the mouth would have to be smaller than quoted. ??
Can't see all the headstamp but it includes "Schneider" and "1918"Schneider2.JPGSchneider1.JPG
Thanks very much
Charley

it looks like a 75x278R Schneider export case for Krupp and compatible Schneider Guns. Eventually produced during war for belge Krupp-Cockerill guns or exported to other countries...

Thanks very much, Alpini.
I have a couple of those cases (from other manufacturers) so i don't need to bid on another. (-:
