SD-1 adaptation

I have recieved the following pictures of SD-1 submunition with fairly large wooden blocks inserted in the fuze well.
There is a metal tube in the center.
Looks to be some kind of adapter.
Some have the tail fins some do not.

Has anyone seen these before?
Is it landmine, handgrenade or something else?

Thanks Bob

Wonder if thy was used as some sort of mine, the Russian Grenade must be a clue to who used them like this, what was the rounds found with them

What I have is the pictures and the story: It was found in one general area in "russian positions".
That could lead to a makeshift use of materials on hand.
