I bought this SD2 part recently, and need help with the makers mark and stamp.

Is it "CMAY"

Genuine bomb part from Germany.

cma is the manufacturing code = Vereinigte Oberschlesische Huttenwerke AG Gliwice Poland
Y I think is the batch number

The other mark is obviously the inspectors stamp for the factory/area

This one turns up fairly frequently on arming rods; cma also produced SD2 wings and bodies.
hope this helps

regards Kev

Hello!
The German manufacturer code is always written with small letters! But not CMAY cma y! These parts are rebuilt lately, with this code. I suspect yours is one. Offered at specialist auction for € 20-25. Harry
