The UK Mk XIV and Mk XVII moored contact mines are more or less identical, just with different horns: Mk XIV has lead acid-horns and Mk XVII has electrical switch horns (2 located on the top plate, 5 on the upper hemisphere and 4 on the lower hemisphere of the cupola, 11 in all). The cupola in the photos clearly have sockets for lead-acid horns, so if the number/placements of horns matches, it would be a Mk XIV cupola.
