Hi
I have these parts in my collection, are they from a sea mine?

Best regards

UK naval mine fittings

fbi.is,

The first fitting is a UK mooring switch used with moored mines, the second one (cylindrical) is a UK anti counter mining switch used with influence mines.

Regards

Hi, thanks for the information and sorry for the late response Xmas time:tinysmile_grin_t: I understand where the switch for the mooring plate is but i dont understand what the other switch is for, or where it is inside the sea mine.

Best regards and happy new year to all.

This device is placed inside the mine body. This fitting put the mine in a sleeping state for a short period in case of a nearby explosion (Anti countermining device)

Hi Patrick
Thank you for the explanation I didnt know that this mine had a device like this, but do you know this item?
I think it is some sort of delay device
Best regards
