Seal with german Eagle

I have found an little seal with an Eagle stamped on it. (13mmx15mm)
Does anyone have a idea what this could be used for ?

To me it looks similar to a seal that was used in material testing (X-ray), for example that there are no bubbles or cracks in metal.

This seals were found at ammo depot from fliegerhorst, so maybe they came from plane parts ?

Plane parts is possible; there are different ways to test safety-relevant material (metal). If the test is successful, the part is stamped.
I think I've seen a stamp like that on screws before, they were X-rayed, but it could also have been a different test method
