Can someone tell me more about this bomb? It was found in Myanmar years ago.

Regards Chris

Hi Chris.
There is already a post on this bomb dropped by the Myanmar airforce against the rebels in the province of Karenni
It has been "officially" identified as a 250kg FAB bomb of Serbian origin sold by through the Sloboda company to the Myanmar new governement.
However:
1) It does not appear among the sales documentation of Serbian aerial bombs to Myanmar
2) It does not appear in the catalogs of Serbian bombs producers (Krusic, Valir, UTVA and Sloboda)

Other photographs of this bomb are in the above link

In the back there is something like a passage to the mechanism that unlocks it similarly to the system ,,EPU,, (but it won't be a parachute for that, it's too small)I guess it's a charge for initiating TB.
It has two red stripes. (some munitions mark thermobaric ammunition this way).
That would make sense for the impact electric sensor and then the function and delay selector on the fuse.
Croatia produced TB ammunition, among other projects, for example unguided rockets.
Bulgaria also marks TB bombs with two red stripes on the cylindrical part.
