Shell identification

Ron, Firestone Tyre and Rubber Co., Great West Road ("The Golden Mile" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Mile_(Brentford)) , Brentford, UK not US.

The drill round shown seems to be from the very same Lot as Snufkin's link.

The red is copper, the case is heavily corroded and most likely subject to de-zincification.

The SAA, as apparently live, needs to be disposed of by official means.

Yes I forgot the UK plant in Brentford . Firestone was an American Company founded in 1900 in Ohio? so I was not entirely wrong.
The US branches also made wartime items. I wondered why a USA Drill round was found in England.
Australia used the 2Pr in Matilda tanks and AT guns so interchangeable in the guns mentioned.

I had only seen the black rubber Drill but it seems that a wooden body also exists.Thanks.
