Whilst on the subject of ammo packaging,anyone know what this is for?Its to small for 3 inch naval round.The FFE sticker says N 1953. 37 inches tall x 5 inch diameter.Very solid,cheers tony.

Hi Tony,

I'm guessing it's for a 4.5 inch naval round and projectile.

I measured my case and it would leave approx 8 inches or so for the projectile to be accomodated in the tube.

Way to big mate the inside of the tube,is only 4 inches diameter,i wonder if its for a rocket motor or something?
