Late 1930's, Germany https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3278810/. A German shepherd puppy is born to a well-to-do Jewish family. When they get separated, the dog is trained by SS to guard a concentration camp, and they meet again under very different circumstances. This is an attempt to see human conflicts through animal's eyes. But this movie does have interesting moments. Definitely for dog lovers. Watch for a regular German family driving in a VW Beetle in 1930's, this did not happen till 1947.
