During a clearance job today, found some nice items. One of which was a dug Shinkle, with the lever still attached, and empty of bang. Unfortunately, due to the rules of the area (and the near monsoon conditions), couldn't take pix, and had to set it aside for disposal. Quoting the immortal words of Slim Pickens In Blazing Saddles, "I am depressed".

To Rick's advice, I would add "if need be rebury and record the GPS location for later retrieval". Just a thought.

Slick & HAZORD, Had 'em, use was contemplated BIG TIME!! :banghead: Paul, Someone else found but I identified, and said authorities were in constant surveillance and awareness of item and area regulations being what they are (explaining, pleading, begging, numbers manufactured and groveling not withstanding), item went bye bye.

Unusual project if they are blowing the scrap as well. I worked a number of jobs where I was allowed to mark scrap (orange paint) and purchase it back on my own time from the scrap dealer. At the large fatality site in Fontana CA I was paying $50 a ton.
