Skoda 220 mm howitzer case

Well-Known Member
This is a case for the Skoda 220 mm howitzer and it was found in the region of Narvik, Norway. The howitzer was brought there by the Germans during the war. From what I have understood, the Skoda 220 mm howitzer was exported to Yugoslavia, Poland and Romania. I am trying to find out if the case is Czech made, or if it was made in one of the other countries. Can anyone help?

This specific case (like most found) is Czech made export for Yugoslavia.

The case was manufactured in Cartridge factory in Rokycany (R at 12'clock)
The screw bears the Skoda logo (winged arrow)
