F2A1 really sound french designation but I think these grenades could be Australian.
These grenades seem to be used as hand grenades and trip flare.
I can't remember when I took that photo, but those are my smoke grenades. I can confirm that they are Aussie made and designed for use with trips as well as by hand. Now obsolete and quite hard to find
