smoke projectile id please

Can anyone identify this smoke round (expended) appears to be about 90mm ,i think it was base emitting ,as it contained no smoke pots was remains of burnt composition as found in 2 in mortar rounds
found in the uk ,
age unknown
any pics etc of good ones welcome

I think ive found this,the documents in german and the measurements are different but this could be down to the dodgy plastic tape measure i used and the corrosion,(was all i could find at the time)

Document is in german but shows an american 75mm,also additional document in english from TM9 1901 (1944 dated)

Resurrecting an old post
Just been looking at these smoke rounds in Dick Taylors book Firing Now.
In the book he shows a US M89 and a British Mk 5 to me apart from the paint and markings both look identical. Can someone confirm if this is so or are there external differences.
