smoke unit

just trying to find out what this smoke unit would be used in,electric det,no other markings or L No.

Looks like a smoke unit from a tank to me.,usually mounted in threes on each side of the turret/

I think it might be the innards from the the 76mm KM smoke discharger grenade, vehicle launched, made by NICO. I have the outer body of the grenade and cardboard storage container but no pics or other details. From what I can gather, the outer metal body of the grenade stays in the launcher and the smoke unit is ejected and operates.

Yes, that's the one I was thinking of, I have the body and tube, but yours looks like it has a green lid on it ?

I'll dig it out today and get some more pics of it. I can't remember if there are any markings on the lid or not.
