I think it might be the innards from the the 76mm KM smoke discharger grenade, vehicle launched, made by NICO. I have the outer body of the grenade and cardboard storage container but no pics or other details. From what I can gather, the outer metal body of the grenade stays in the launcher and the smoke unit is ejected and operates.
