Some New Acquisitions

Hi Justin, and thanks VERY much for your kind advice. Will start reading as soon as home from work this evening(Need to earn some $'s for those elusive Lemons and Baseballs!) At a recent auction I also picked up a very modern "baseball type" grenade, in its cannister, yet cant find much info on it. Its a Model KG881 Frag. Any idea where these are from? (Google was no good, and could not find any posts on here)

Perhaps I should start a thread and try post a photo?

Shorty, yes please do post some pics. G881 is the DODAC(Department of Defense Ammunition Code) for the M67. Not sure why there would be a K there though.

I believe you might be correct as I cannot find that designation anywhere in my Jane's collection of books nor my other sources either. Once he gets a picture out to us you should immeditely be able to ID it. I am getting slower in my old age.:sad::sad:
 
Dear V40, Fragman and Justin, CORRECT! I should rather have studied the actual body of the grenade instead of the container, DUH!

It DOES say K400, hence CNOTECH Korea.

Thanks for helping the new kid on the block(Who is a few grenades "richer tonight".

Trying to post a few pics, but seems that I cant upload from my computer, as would love to show you what I obtained tonight!

Will try figure it all out, and also perhaps take better pics in the daylight tomorrow.
