Some WWI German Trench Mortar Rounds

Ok, I know, oldest thread that I am picking up,today, but what type of shell is the attached one? I have never seen anything like it

This version was the short version of the Taube. Was done in the frotline. With this shorter version they had a bigger range. Found sometimes in the field.
 
Think they were made locally.. The shell is cut and then adapted. The shells I have seen were all different. So I do not think it was done in a factory;perhaps in small shops behind the fro,tline.
