Someone didn't do his homework on this one

This is a lot of money for a repainted M21 practice grenade made to look like an MKII.The spoon is a repro and probably the fuse body also,can't tell with it having been painted.Look at the bottom you can still see the bevel around the cork hole.It got 11 bids.

At least he had the decency to amend the description during the currency of the auction noting what he had been told. I guess he is now guaranteeing that it might not be original!

Wow, it sold for $254.00! Someone is going to be unhappy one day.

Here is what he amended. To me it sounds like he's saying only that some of the paint might not be original, but it's unclear:

This individual misrepresents most of his items and gets big money for them. We call him the gray blanket guy, because most of his Japanese rifles are photographed on a gray blanket. Do your homework. Vaughn
