Strange 4,5inch

Unfortunately, BR 932 doesn't have any diagrams of the projectile(s).

Hi Have had a quick look at the base of the case

1 Its a MK V1 (6) Cant make out the gun markings

2 The case was manufacturer by ICI 1941 Lot 249

3 Why it has a S below ICI I don't know

4 Can the person rub some calk over the top makings so we can identify what the size of the case

It could be the result of an electro-chemical reaction due to the salt water and being in contact with the copper band and brass case.
