strange marine corp 20mm AA gun

i have never seen this setup used by the US marine corp?did they take 20mm twin mounts off the ships and put them on 40mm bofors mounts?

That is an official mounting, Light wheeled twin Oerlikon. I think from from early war. Another image of a dug in version.
