Acquired today,im reckoning its a 57 chemical delay bomb fuze?
Have compared it to another one in my collection but whats happened to the stampings on the fuze boss?
The holes could be original BD drilled as when inspected under the lens,the metal around the hole seems to be similar condition to the rest of the fuze.
There is also this odd,rubber type gack all over and inside the fuze?
I wonder if this was experimented on or indeed de-act on a bomb case??
